Tri-State schools named blue ribbon schools

Several Tri-State schools have been named blue ribbon schools Thursday.

Schools are named blue ribbon schools when students at the school achieve at high levels or where the achievement gap is narrowing.

Just over 6,000 schools have received the honor.

The Tri-State schools that were named blue ribbon national schools Thursday are as follows:

All Saints School (Kenwood)
Kings Mill Elementary (Kings Mills)
Putman Elementary (Blanchester)
St. Columbian (Loveland)
Springboro High School (Springboro)
Woodfill Elementary (Fort Thomas, Ky.)
