At these schools, traditions, great coaching, top-of-the-line facilities, parental and alumni support, and strong work ethics have resulted in conference, state, regional, and district champions in a wide variety of sports.

All that physical strength is balanced by quality academic programs, making these five schools well worth cheering for.

Colerain has a lot to be proud of. Just ask Dan Bolden, the athletic director: “For five straight years we’ve had an excellent rating from the state of Ohio. We take pride in that.” Sound strange coming from an athletic director? Maybe, but it’s clear from talking to him that “We Are Colerain” is more than a simple cheer. The community pulled together to pay off the loan for the field turf installed here in 2004—three and a half years early.

“People who have contributed to that effort can see the results. It gets down into their hearts.” Bolden likes to brag about his coaches, about the character and sportsmanship of the players. But his love for the school is obvious when he adds, “If people would just experience Colerain and take it all in, they would understand why ‘We Are Colerain’ is something we’re so proud of.”
